"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I assume you have done the standard re-boot?
Also, have you re-run the Config wizard?

Are you following the MS update process?

If so, You will most likely need to go through the process of re-createing your configuration DB.

Not fun...

Which wizard i want run is it share point wizard.
We are not using share point server 2007.
we are using WSS ( Windows share point services 3.0) that comes within the project server 2007
the products and technology wizard it the same no matter what product you are using. (at least from my experience)

typically if you can get the wizard to finish you are doing OK, if it fails it does a decent job of telling you why it failed.

Do you have any idea WHY the DB might be corrupt?

Some general info:

This is the bad stuff you should not EVER do to the database
This is the good stuff you CAN do in a maintenance plan

A SQL/SharePoint Whitepaper:
Newly released Acronis True Image 2019

In announcing the release of the 15th Anniversary Edition of Acronis True Image 2019, the company revealed that its artificial intelligence-based anti-ransomware technology – stopped more than 200,000 ransomware attacks on 150,000 customers last year.

If I rerun the share point configuration wizard . Is there any problem to my existing environment and database.
How to  run the wizard . could you  give me the steps
The wizard is not going to mess with the data, however, if the sites are currently still "up and running"  The config wiard may interupt service.  If this is a Production server, I get a proper "downtime" and take a FULL FARM backup prior to trying this task.

The config wiards is earther in Start>all programs> office server> products & tech wizard,

in the administrative tools menu.

Just run it, select not to remove the server... (Do not move CA either)

If it does not finish successfully, it will give you and error, and the link to the log file to investigate...

To force the config wizard, (sometime helps) - See here;

psconfig.exe -cmd upgrade -inplace B2B -force

Again, be careful if this is PRD.
after thinking about it a min,

Are you able to run a full farm backup?

if not what error?

While running the sharepoint configuration wizard we are getting the error as show in the attachment.
and also we are not able to open Central adminstration page.

Looks like a security issue,

Are you logged into the server AS the Farm Admin account?

Also check the local groups on the servers, make sure your service account is in the following groups:

Are you using NTLM or Kerberos for authentication?
