Modify wmv with hex editor to remove url

Hello people,
i have a lot of wmv file made to deploy our business products...maybe cause of the software used to make them, when i see videos with media player INTERNET EXPLORER starts to go on"hasvideo.net" and visualization stop...
Opening file with hex editor, i can see where url is written, but if i brutally delete that code, i can'yt open the file (error : file damaged...)
What' s the right procedure to modify a file by a hex editor? is there a tool just to modify wmv header and remove this malicious url? how can i do to remove from all my wmv , better in background?
Thanks a lot, ask me for details...nanoweb

If this is a DRM problem this program will sort it out

With Drm Pro the wmv file has no problem....I have the same result with simpler Windows Movie Maker....
But this means "to rip" all wmv, and if i have a video of 2 hours, i have to convert all video in batch processing.
It is not a DRM problem, cause these video are not protected.
For all these reasons, i want to open a wmv vith ex editor, make a "find" command using word = hasvideo.net , and removing the entry.
So i can avoid to reconvert about 80 gb of video!
Thank u so much for ur advice....but i want to modify with hex editor +  "rebuild" the file.
