Exchange 2003 - Is it possible to create a custom NDR message when a user leaves a company

Hello Everyone,

I think I know the answer, but I thought I would ask it anyway.......When someone leaves the company and I remove their email account is there a way to customize a ndr message that when someone emails that non existent person they would get a ndr message saying to contact xxx@xx.com?

Thanks,

Bill

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I once needed the same thing - quickest way I found and probably not the best way was to keep tjhe account active - log in to the account via web access and simply forward to the appropriate person.
