How do I determine which CAPICOM version is in use?

I have a Windows 2003 server running an application. I want to patch the application, but the latest patch says it required CAPICOM version

The capicom.dll file I have in C:\WINDOWS\system32 says it is version There is also a capicom.dll file in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft CAPICOM\Lib\X86" that says it is

How do I determine which of these CAPICOM dlls is actually the one in use on the server?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

One of those files is left over from an update, but it looks like it is still using that .dll

Go here and redownload / reinstall the package and you will be sure to have the most current version:
