Why does Outlook Instant Search stop searching on May 8th?

Outlook 2007 Instant Search will only search up to May 8th on my customer's machine.  I have uninstalled Windows Desktop Search and reinstalled and still only searches up to May 8th.   Any ideas?

Its likely that was the last time Outlook used Cached Exchange Mode

Go to Tools>Account Settings>
Open the Account Details
Under Exchange Server, make sure "Use cached exchange mode, is on

Close and reopen Outlook

Expand all folders in Outlook

GO to Start>Control Panel>indexing Options>Advanced> and Rebuild the index

Then try again
