Photoshop CS4 - Batch zoom into 1:1 pixel ratio? Perference? For large images... zoom ratio
The answer to this question might be very simple..
I need to set the zoom ratio of an opened picture to 1:1
Basically I don't want photoshop to automatically shrink the picture to fit my monitor...
I assume this would be under preferences, but I could not find the option.
Why can't I just resize the zoom ratio ratio myself? Well I'm going to be automatically batching watermarks across thousands of variously sized images.. Photoshop will actually be off by 1px when laying the border down on the large images because they are 50% zoom ratio sized. I even tried recording the function of to resize them but it does not allow that to be recorded as an action.

I'm not sure I understand... The zoom ratio is just for viewing on your monitor while working in Photoshop. It shouldn't affect anything on your recorded action.

Yeah, you're telling me, Photoshop is pretty messed up... I've tried this on multiple computers but it kept on placing the watermarks off by 1 pixel.. I finally realized that it was my viewing ratio of 50% for large pictures.. Prettly lame of Adobe to leave a bug like that in.. Photoshop also screws up with various other types of things.. for instance batching while minimized or windowed actually can cause your watermarks to be misplaced too! It totally sucks , but it's the best thing out there (for now...).
Thanks for the script, that works!
