VB 6 Code for Costing in Sales Module and Reports in Crystal Reports

I am working on visual basic`6.0, I need to write the code for Costing in Sales module, I would like to know the examples of costing in Sales module. I am using front end as Visual Basic 6.0 and back end as microsoft SQL Server 2000, let me know the best and customized way to write the code for costing in sales module, by keeping each and every business scenario in mind.
