I'm a bit stumped on this one.
We have a helpdesk software installed on a Windows server 2003 R2 SP2.
I've downloaded a patch for this program onto my Vista machine. Executed it, and runs ok.
Copied file to the server, ran it - "setup file is corrupted".
Downloaded the same file to the server via the internet, same problem. Copied the file to my Vista machine - works fine.
Have tried, local admin, domain admin with no such luck.
Any help would be appreciated

The program was an executable so wasnt zipped.
What I did do was go onto an external broadband connection outside of our domain and download the file from their.
It worked without any problems.
We use Safe scan for our internal internet monitoring (alebit through an external third party) system so it might have had something to do with that.
No idea why, so if any more ideas come up please let me know as I'm sure this wont be the last time this happens.

Many Thanks

it can still be an self extracting zip file but obviously it wasn't as it would have self extracted itself without software. It does sound wierd to me though
