Lenovo X60 Laptop with Windows XP is typing character 'N' as soon as it gets to an application by itself.

The 'N' letter is typing by itself continualy with no way to stop it

The key is probably stuck. If the laptop still has warranty, make use of it. If not, try to clean the keyboard (carefully), or get a replacement. You can also test this by removing the keyboard and connecting an external one, and by booting the PC to an Ubuntu CD (or other liveCD), and checking if you have the same issue there.

Find the FRU of the keyboard and replace it. if it does not fix this Repair windows and clear the clipboard.
