How to use a DIB handle

A 3rd party Twain component returns a handle to a DIB. My question is, how can I use that handle to get a bitmap out of it?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That handle is an HBITMAP and you can do anything with it that you can with a HBITMAP -- obtain its size and resolution via GetObject, select it into a DC, blit it. Etc.

Thanks for the feedback, but I expected help in line with BORLAND C++, and the complete solution i.e. not just "...Etc."

Anyway, I found a workaround for my problem (using the clipboard, which is not first prize but I don't have time) and will not pursue the DIB further
