Exchange 2007 Alias Import

We need to add a large number of aliases to several mailboxes.  The mailboxes are already created.  We would like to avoid adding manually.  Is there a way to import aliases only to a specific mailbox?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would use ldifde to accomplish this

XADM: How to Modify a User's E-mail Addresses by Using Ldifde

the format of the text file you will be using to import the extra aliases is

dn: CN=Peter Connelly,CN=Users,DC=domain,DC=com
changetype: modify
replace: proxyAddresses
proxyAddresses: CCMAIL:Connelly, Peter at SITE
proxyAddresses: NOTES:Peter Connelly/SITE/Organization@Exchange
proxyAddresses: GWISE:Exchange.SITE.peterco
proxyAddresses: X400:c=US;a= ;p=Organization;o=SITE;s=Connelly;g=Peter;

note that the trailing '-' is required for the import to succeed properly
