How can I do an USB redirection based on RDP?

Hi experts!

We ´re trying a 2X why I need to replace citrix. So, I need something that make me USB redirection for scanner.

Do you now some software for it?

Hi!

I installed the fabulaTech software "USB Desktop Remote", but I need to install device drivers in the server. Exist something that will n´t need drivers. Something like....citrix ( uups! )....I don´t like citrix, but, exist something that replace the twain redirection?.....We need to redirect scanners.

Tabulate and any other I suspect will require installation of drivers/software on both client and server, unless you change to Server 2008 and Vista which support additional USB devices over remote desktop connections.

We have Windows Server 2008. About your answer, Vista on the clients?

The new remote desktop client with Vista and I belive with XP SP3 under local resources, has a "More" buttoin that allows you to select "additional supported USB devices". Though this is a huge improvement over Server 2003, I don't know if it will support a scanner, but it does support far more devices than in the past.
