"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thank you for getting back to me tbsgadi, however I am looking to set the status bar for the default user. What I really need is to know where the file is located, but thank you for your response.

I was able to find the registry key where the status bar is kept. It is [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\StatusBar].
I exported the registry file out once I had configured it correctly and applied it in the login script.
