SQL Server Agent cannot start

Hello,

Windows 2000 SP4, MS SQL 6. Suddenly for an unknown reason the service "SQL Server Agent" cannot start. The SQL Server" service starts OK

Any idea? Of course my application working with SQL cannot work because of the SQL Server Agent is not starting

Look at the windows Event Log to see why its not starting or was stopped.

Did you chnage the password of the user  account with which the agent starts
