Loading external images into a FlashEff component in Flash CS3

Please take a look at this SWF: http://www.discretedata.com/HBDAP/flashMovie1.html.

* On the timeline is a movie clip named "MC_left."
* Inside that there is a movie clip named "grille." The flashEff component is attached to this one.
* Inside "grille" there is an image "grille.png."

How do I script it so that the movie clip "grille" gets its image from an external source like say: "http://www.mysite/images/grille.png"?  And can that be done without disabling the flashEff effects? (FlashEff requires AS 3.0).

You can download the FLA from the webpage above.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

if you can control when the effects start, I would just load the PNGs into the "holder" movieclips like MC_left using the Loader class...

here is an example of how to use it...

Thanks, rascalpants.  I found the link a little overwhelming, but it encouraged me to take a look at the Flash Help, which is rarely any help. But in this case, it actually gave me a simple 4-line script that does it perfectly ... at least for one image. I just asked a followup question on how to adapt this script to pick up a series of images from an xml file.
