You could try deleting all records from the registry. This is where it the information will be coming from when you get the error that one is already installed.<br />

But be careful!!! DOnt delete anythign you are unsure about without researching it first

How to uninstall Windows Live Essentials?<br />

User installed Windows Live Essentials from internet.<br />
<br />
Tried uninstall thru application Your Uninstaller 2008 and removed it now i can't see it Add/Remove Programs, but it still wont allow me install Old Live Messenger on system, it says latest one is already installed.<br />

User just needs Live Messenger any working version not this whole package.<br />

User installed Windows Live Essentials from internet.

Tried uninstall thru application Your Uninstaller 2008 and removed it now i can't see it Add/Remove Programs, but it still wont allow me install Old Live Messenger on system, it says latest one is already installed.

User just needs Live Messenger any working version not this whole package.
