Small Business Server 2003

We backup onto external hard drives.  I have setup the backups thru System Management.  How or is it possible to setup it up in such a way to append, and when the hard drive is full it start from the beginning writing over that hard drive again.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hello,

I would setup a full backup that overwrites every X days/weeks, depending on how much space you have... Then use append backups for all the days in between.

Where would i find the append/overwrite tab, bearing in mind that I used the SBS Backup Console under Server Management.

Thanks.
