I'm looking for a Firewall software based for windows server 2003 R2? I'm currently using sunbelts anti-virus software because its designed to use less CPU useage and i kinda need the same from the firewall i cant allow it to be resource hungry!<br />

If anyone knows of a firewall based that wont use a lot of resources please let me know!

Windows Server 2003 Firewall Software?

Software firewalls, also known as host-based firewalls, provide a layer of software on one host that controls network traffic in and out of that single machine. Most operating systems now include firewall software, but many available software firewalls include central distribution, antivirus systems and disaster recovery.

Software Firewalls

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
