Our company is switching ISP's in six months. &nbsp;The new ISP is having me jump through hoops to get a class c, which my current ISP provides us. &nbsp;During the switch, there will be a lot of updating, DNS, Firewall, IDS, etc. &nbsp;<br />

Is there any reason why I wouldn't want to buy a block of portable IP's from ARIN? &nbsp;What are the pros and cons of that? &nbsp;I already have an ASN, if that helps.<br />
