I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use any otf to ttf converter, for example, fontforge. It's free:

perfect, I installed fontforge...everything up, now how do I use this program?

Been a long time since I used a linux platform....could you give me instructions on how to make the conversion.

I get a user interface and I'm able to open fonts, but what do I do from there to convert it?

I tried 'Save As' and it does not work to make the conversion correctly....

On unix you just say:

Open(myfont.otf)
Generate(myfont + ".ttf")
