What does White (or pinstripe) Screen mean?

I have an HP Desktop AMD Athlon 3400+ machine that occasionally throws a totally white screen (or vertical pinstripes once so often).  The system is locked up at this point and the only way out is to power down manually.  It responds to nothing.  This only happens when browsing and with IE6, 7 and 8.
I have formatted the hard drive and reinstalled windows XP 32 bit from the recovery sector on D:.
I have updated to SP3 and had the problem with intelppm.sys when it would not boot after installing SP3.  Worked through that.
I am running Webroot Spysweeper and immediately after the reinstall it found Mal/ProcInj-Fam and App/Killit-A.
I have also ran MalwareBytes, it found that Antivirus and Firewall disable notification were turned off in the registry and it fixed those items.
I have fun SDFix, it found nothing.  Combo Fix found things and I am attaching all logs here including the HiJackThis log as I am stumped.
Has anyone run into anything like this?  Sometimes the system will stay up for 15 hours while browsing, then the next time it lasts for 10 minutes.

Combofix Log
Uninstall and re-install your video drivers. Your video drivers may be corrupt or video card may be going bad.

I have chosen attach file and all the logs but do not see them here.  Does anyone know why they are not showing up?

also, check your cables. If possible, try DVI cable instead of VGA, or VGA instead of DVI (depends on your setup).
Try posting the ComboFix log inside a 'Code Snippet' section, that might work.
I would say that the pixel controller in your monitor is going bad because of the white screen and lines you mention. However your system locking up should not be related. You might have two different problems. Are you sure that the system is locked up, it might seem like it with the screen going bad. Do you have an old monitor you can use to test this out? Like Lisij said in a previous post it could be the cables also but usually that's because a pin was bent while hooking up the cables. Does not go unnoticed for a period of time because of the change in the monitor.
