Not being hot on networking, as is usual my boss gave me this task.
I have a large number of inventorized server addresses and another list of vlan addresses, each list has their netmasks. I need to cross check the list of servers addresses against the VLAN addresses to determine which of the servers are in the VLAN.
Can anyone help me out with a script that I can use?

Apologies, the lists are in the following notation.
SERVER List or

I now think I ought to get away with just cross checking the entries with the DMZ list entries
If the sever entry appears in the DMZ then its in the DMZ. I was thinking that this would only require a awk script with an "if" statement to achive. I am going down these lines.
