Multiple backups with Windows 2008?

It seems that I can only set up one backup up in Windows Server Backup. I have attached a dedicated USB external drive for this, but have another one that I want backup different data.

Is there a way to create multiple backups with multiple USB external drives?

Windows Server Backup is a relatively basic tool which is designed to take snapshots of the hard disk volume(s) in your server which are stored in the form of image files on Virtual Hard Disks (VHDs). You cannot use the tool to back-up individual files/folders from the file system. You'll need to look at a third-party tool to achieve that.

You can, however, configure a disk pool in the Windows Server Backup management console. This enables you to have multiple USB disks to save your backups to, which can then be rotated on a regular basis and the latest backup stored offsite for safety.
