Windows Server 2008 SP2: Failed Windows Update (Error 80072F78)
I get the following error when I try to do a Windows Update on a brand new fresh install of Windows Server 2008 SP2 running Symantec Multi Tier v11.0.3:
WindowsUpdate_80072F78" "WindowsUpdate_dt000
History:
1) I have been through all of the normal and advanced troubleshooting dialogues on Microsoft.com and TechNet.
2) Updates failboth with Symantec enabled and disabled, and with Windows Firewal active and inactive.
3) Time settings appear to be correct.
4) Have tried stopping Windows Update Service, renaming C:\Windows\SoftwareDistrib
