Current network is 192.168.100.x mask 255.255.255.0  Gateway 192.168.100.1
Win 2000 and 2003 server with XP clients
Win 2000 DHCP server 192.168.100.10
DHCP scope on server is 192.168.100.20 - 220 (nearly full)
Current switch setup is 4 units of the 3Com 4200 50 port switches and some  NJ220 wall switches in labs.
I just recently aquired a 3Com 4500 50 Port switch.
Is the following possible without adding new equipment:

Use the same DHCP server to distribute the 192.168.101.x IPs
Setup second VLAN on the 4500 for the 101 network
Use the 3Com 4500 to route the traffic between the subnets.

If this is possible, how would the DHCP server and the 4500 be setup to pass client DHCP requests on VLAN 2 to the DHCP server on VLAN 1 and have the server pass the VLAN2 clients a 100.x IP address?
