Folders Disappearing Outlook 2007

I have a client that claims that folders are disappearing iin her outlook. There are 3 folders that are gone. SHe has said that she had not deleted them and there is no sign of them in her folder views.

I tried to run scanst and nothig was found.

Any ideas?

There is not much to go on here. Outlook 2007 does not delete folders on its own in my experience with it (myself and clients). If one archives to the point a folder is empty (that is, archived elsewhere), it still does not delete the folder.

So is there any chance your client has dragged the folder into another folder while managing mail? I have managed to do that on rare occasion. ... Thinkpads_User

I checked that and I can not find the folder anywhere. I searched by email subject, folder name etc.
I have not seen it happen on its own either.

I looked for foldder that had subfolders adn there were none that should not have been there.

Would a scanpst "find" them? I tried and no luck

The deletted folder has a ton of old email in it. and no foders.

I thought I was just missing something.

Thansk for the welcome...I am trying to find a solution as mentioned by others where a subfolder created by the user under the Inbox just disappears. Not deleted adn its not anywhere else in the mailbox. How can a folder just start deleting almost like it was syncronizing..I saw it happen..all of a sudden the folder and its contents just started deleting..no one was even touching the keyboard ! I am stumped and have been doing this a long time...
