how do i open .wdb file without works?  

i saw a solution posted for this problem.  But i'm new to "Experts Exhange" - & I'm NOT an Expert.  I could not figure out how to open the solution - so i could read it.

Basically click here to open up an application to convert the file. You'll need to press "run" and then "i agree" in order to run the application.

My fault, i thought Mickijl was having trouble finding the link within your link. Now i see the problem was likely with Java not installed.

I was able to download Java.  Thanks for the link to free download.  Now I'll try to install works database converter.  I'm just figuring out how to respond.  sorry for the delay
