Hi Everyone;

           Thanks so much for the links given in response to this question.  After careful consideration, I decided to purchase the KB from amazon.com for a couple of reasons.  First, I have a long history of transactions with amazon.com for which I was pleased with both, the quality of the merchandise and the promptness of shipment.  And, secondly, I am more inclined to carry out business transactions with companies as opposed to individuals.  When dealing with companies, there are often more avenues of handling obstacles should they arise through the built-in warranty and support given with the purchase of their products.

             In closing, I want to thank both of you for your help.

            Many thanks

I agree -- e-bay is not a reliable source;  although sometimes you can find hard-to-find items there, and I've taken the chance -- usually with good results.     I did, however, get ripped off for $100 several years ago ... I bought something that was dead-on-arrival and the seller basically took a "too bad, I thought it worked" approach (and e-bay wasn't any help).     I haven't forgotten that lesson :-)
