how to setup Shared calendar using SBS 2003 Exchange

I have followed the steps to create a new folder under public folders, gave it a name but when I try to open it from outlook I receive a message;
The server mailbox cannot be opened because this address book entry is not a mail user.

Please assist with this issue.

thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

please provide specific instruction set for this as I keep getting the same error even though the mail box is created.
I created a test folder under public folders and gave and added myself under client permissions with publishing author. A mailbox has been created in ADUC for this account and I still receive the same error message?

So further assistance is required please.
