Why is the streaming video jitters in Firefox?

I have Firefox 3.0.11 installed with the latest shockwave. All streaming videos (from various source sites such as Youtube) jitter and skip a frame every 5-7 seconds. When I load up the same url in IE 7 or 8, the video streams perfectly.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Firefox is now downloading their latest version 3.5. Don't know why you had probs with 3.0.11 -- could either be because the latest Flash version is not installed or server probs.
Just download the latest Firefox 3.5, install the latest flash, and cheeck your webspeed -- especially if you're watching 720p videos (HD).

Cheers.
