I have a Dell Inspirion 1501 that when I turn it on the lights flash and then go off and the only light that stays on is the power light.  I have reseated memeory, used other working memory, it has a new battery, I have tried it plugged in as well as on the battery.  I finally went out and Dell suggested that I turn it on while holding down the FN key.  I did this and all light come on and then the Number lock goes off and the Caps lock and then Scrool Lock are left flashing.  Dell does not have this sequence in there documentation.  Can anyone help me.
