Display HTML stored in database table using coldfusion

Okay i have a little application that i've created allowing members of our documentation department to take existing product documentation that is formatted in HTML and input it into a database table. The problem i am having is that when a customer comes to the web site i want for them to see this content properly formatted.

Instead what i'm getting on the output page is exactly what was put into the table, i.e. the raw html. i just need a way for the coldfusion page to display it as formatted HTML and not the code itself

Assuming you are using a .cfm page to output the code, there should be no problems. Just output the variable containing the html:

<cfset htmlContent = '<h1>Heading</h1> Some <b>bold</b> text, some <span style="color:red;"> red text</span>'>
