setting up exchange 2003 backup using backup exec 12 (exchange agent installed)

Need to setup exchange server backup for Full backup in weekend and incremental backup monday to thursday. we use DELL Powervalut tape drive for backup. i have backup server with 400GB free space. If possible i want to backup mailbox for easy restore.

Now, only after you read the Best Practices link above...

- Create a new job in Backup Exec
- For selections select your Exchange server.  Since you want easy backup for mailboxes, select the mailboxes.
- This may generate a debate, but select the Information Store as well.  Reason it may generate a debate is because you are now backing up your mailbox information twice -- once as the information store and once as individual mailboxes.  Bottom line of doing this is for flexibility in case of disaster recovery, and to be sure your logs are getting flushed.
- Set options for device, full backup, verification, and schedule

- Create another job same as above, but this time set for incremental.
