I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can refer to the below link, I hope it is useful.

or you can use some ftp softwares like secureFTP or coreFTP. But I suggest the above method will be more secure since I am not pretty sure how secure the freeware softwares are :)

Make sure in addition to setting up the FTP server (as razorBlades has advised) you setup an FTP A record in DNS if you don't already have one, pointing to your server's IP Address and open up port 21 on your firewall, and forward this to your server.
