I have the following scenario:
2 domain forests, 1 exchange org in each (2003 in one, 2007 in the other)
Users should be able to acess free busy information of users AND resources in the other exch org.
I came across two solutions, but both come with serious issues:

1. interorg replication utitlity, as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/238573/en-us
This would actually be a perfect solution, but as I understood it will not work reliably in the mixed 2007/2003 environment (actually it will not work with 2007 at all?)

2. outlook internet free busy, as described in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/291621
This would also cover the requirements, the only problem being that it works for user mailboxes, but not for resources (as data is only published while user is logged in with outlook, which never happens for the resource mailboxes)

I would appreciate very much any clues how to get this working. Maybe somebody can confirm that the interorg replication is working in mixed 2007/2003 environment, or has a solution for automatic internet free busy publication - or maybe even a totally different solution :)

Thank you very much for any support!

You can use the InterOrg utility
This article describes your scenario perfectly

I have implemented this in my lab without any issues
