I have the touchscreen HP touchsmart IQ504 that needs to have XP running natively on it and have the touch feature working.  I saw a few places that people were using the nextwindow software and successfully using the touch feature.  However when I installed the software, it didn't seem to enable the touch feature on the OS.  The software seems to be a bunch of utilities for configuring the touchscreen, but I dont get how it will allow the OS to use the touch feature.  The computer does beep when I touch the screen, so touch is "detected" but it doesnt move the mouse or anything.  The infrared cameras are working to detect my touch, but how do I get my touch to move the mouse and whatnot?  Right now I have the ehome infrared transceiver installed as a USB controller using the XP OS drivers for USB controller.  Please help me get the touch working.

I solved this myself, the built in XP drivers work for the IR transceiver, you just install manually and select USB controllers for the driver for this device.
