IE7 Options not found in IE8..?

Maybe I was not clear with my question.  If you open IE7 select File-> Open.. a dialog box will pop up with an option to 'Open as Web Folder'.  If you do the same thing in IE8 the option is gone.  I need the option to connect to the https:/ site for FTP.  Does anyone know how to enable this in IE8 or have a work around..?

Thanks again.

after you have logged into your fto server through explorer, click page, open ftp site in windows explorer.

Is this what you are looking for?  an option to use your ftp site as a folder?
also if you create a folder shortcut on your desktop, and change the shortcut path to your ftp site, it should create a shortcut to your ftp site that opens in explorer
