ISA 2004

We are using ISA 2004 as our proxy server so our remote auditors can access the internet when they are VPN in. Websense is our web filtering software. Websense is showing our Domain Admin account as accessing hundreds of sites a day.

On the ISA server, if I go to the properties of the Internal Network and choose the Web Proxy tab, under Authentication, the Require all users to authenticate box is checked. Is this the reason? Our proxy server is also logged in as the same domain account.

You have to check the following:

In Websense Manager, you have to tell him the IP address of the ISA server so that it is excluded from monitoring.
On the ISA machine, you have to create a file inside windows\system32:
name it ignore.txt and only type in it the IP of the ISA.
