you need to install Mail for Exchange onto the Nokia phone: http://www.businesssoftware.nokia.com/mail_for_exchange_downloads.php

This is assuming your exchange organisation is configured for it's use?
that's just what is being said in the first link :-)
Ahh righto - didn't look at it, I have done this on around 20 Nokia E51's which is the exact same procedure just the phones aren't quite so bulky
;-) no problems

Hi I have tried to follow those instructions but by the looks of it I need to purchase a licence

http://press.nokia.com/PR/200502/980375_5.html

Is this right?
Hi,
As it is a business software, yes, you have to pay a licence.
You will find all the necessary informations here : http://www.mailforexchange.com/

Hi,

I have found that all the posts above seem to be irrelevant to what my problem is, I have just connected my e71 to another persons exchange server (SBS 2008) with no problem, I think that this problem has some thing to do with permissions on the exchange server as the error message appearing on my e71 is "your account does not have permission to sync with current settings. Contact your administrator". It seems as though the exchange server is rejecting my e71 from connecting.

Pablo.
Hi,
Have you followed the instructions given above?

There is no need to purchase any software, I have been able to connect to other exchange servers with out the purchase of software.
