Domain Name Registration Question

I currently own a domain that is uk based i.e. xxx.co.uk

I have wanted the .com version for a while but it was already taken.

When I checked today I noticed that it says PENDING DELETE on WhoIs lookup and that the domain actually ran out on April 13th 2009.

Does anyone know when this becomes available to purchase again and move over to me? I assume there must be a cooling off period for the previous registrant to decide to keep it?

Thanks as always!

If you want it, I'd check back very frequently to see when it becomes available again.
