c# oneclick publish and uninstall start menu items / old short cuts

I have a C# application that was published on multiple PCs via oneclick.  I am currently in the process of updating it and would like to remove any start menu references to the old application.

old
start - programs - myapp - oldname

new
start - programs - myapp - newname

is there a way to do this via a oneclick setting or should I create some sort of batch file.

please note that the start menu is set to the users profile not to all users...

See, click once works on the basis of auto-update facility. It works on manifest file whcih is being deployed when you publish it on the web. and this manifest file is known as default.applicaition.
when you open the application again. it validates the files on remote and client location. But It do not update any kind of icons and shortcuts. you do one thing. you can attach one batch file and you can use that while strating the application and delete that file later on...It will be all automatic and will resolve your problem

Thanks for the reply.  I created a batch file to remove the start menu icons.

del "c:\documents and settings\%username%\start menu\programs\myapp
