RE : Pure ASP upload

Hi,

We have just installed a new server and we are using the pure asp upload file for uploading the components.
We are facing the below error

ADODB.Stream error '800a0bbc'

Write to file failed.

/manager/include/upload.asp, line 229

and line states streamFile.SaveToFile path & fileItem.FileName, 2

Thanks

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check the permission of the folder you are saving the uploads to. You have to add user "IUSER_clientname" with write permission in the security dialog of the folder.

In your FTP client set the destination folder to be "777" so it's fully writable.
