iSQL*Plus is a browser based implementation of SQL*Plus. We can use it to connect to an Oracle database system over the Internet.
You can try using this code to connect a via jdbc driver using the code:
.
.
.
DriverManager.registerDriver(new oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver());
String url = "jdbc:oracle:thin:@yourserver:1521";
try {
String url1 = System.getProperty("JDBC_URL");
if (url1 != null)
url = url1;
} catch (Exception e) {
// If there is any security exception, ignore it and use default
}
// Connect to the database
Connection conn =
DriverManager.getConnection (url, "username", "password");
// Create a Statement here..
.
.
.
.
.

It sure is correct. You will need the corresponding port where the database is located. Please ask your system administrator for information to the port.

As I have already said, iSQL*Plus is a browser based implementation of SQL*Plus. We can use it to connect to an Oracle database system over the Internet.
It is a web-based utility similar to the SQL*Plus command line utility for executing SQL and PL/SQL commands.
