Use java script for it see following code.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<script>
function fc() {
    if(c>=0){
        document.getElementById("dl").innerHTML = '<h3 style="font-size:24pt;" id="zeit">Still ' + c + ' seconds</h3>';
        c=c-1;
        setTimeout("fc()", 1000);
    } else {
        document.getElementById("dl").innerHTML = 'Done';
    }
}
var c=10;
</script>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>
</head>

<body onload="javascript:fc();">
<div id="dl">.</div>

</body>
</html>

you can also do it in recursion. just a example you can modify it accordingly. but if you want to use it in web. use JavaScript as most of the downloading site use java script
		try{
		int i=10;

		while(i>=0){
			System.out.print(i);
			i=i-1;
			Thread.sleep(1000);

		}

		System.out.print("Done");
		}catch(Exception e){
			e.printStackTrace();

		}
