You can add as many as 32 (2 TB) Extents to a VMFS Volume.

Maximum size of a VMFS Volume is 64 TB.

Your best bet would be the iSCSI Configuration Guides and the FC SAN Configuration Guide

Yup it is possible, just ensure you present the all the LUNs to the HBA WWN

The problem is when we add both LUNs to ESX,  the LUN the IBM DS4800 and the LUN IBM DS8300 , the ESX server fails.
Are both IBM DS4800 and IBM DS8300 different storage arrays ?

How are they connected ? (Network Architecture)

What type of SAN is it ? (FC or iSCSI)
