iChat connection

Hi,

I have macbook pro. OS 10.5.7.
Everytime i try to connect to googletalk i get the following error

could not connect to host talk.l.google.com

please help

What is the network setup like?  Is your firewall enabled on your macbook pro?

I was able to solve the problem. all you have to do is assign the dns manually.
