Dear Experts,

Is it possible to have a timed event running in a *SINGLE* WCF (non-windows) service? If it is, could you attach some code...

I suspect that it may not be possible due to the nature of the beast, but I didn't know if there was some sort of workaround for 3.5, so I thought I'd ask anyway..

So.. if it's NOT possible, what do you usually do? Schedule a windows service to call it?

Thanks you in advance (as ever),

Kind Regards,
   Dmitri

Hello Dmitri:
I'm not sure I understand the question.  By non-windows service do you mean a web service?  If so then, you're correct, you would a windows service or setup a scheduled task to run the event at the desired interval.
