Aborting the Save click event

Inside the Save click event I run tests, and sometimes determine the conditions don't alow a Close to be called. But the dialog seems to close regardless of my Close() function not being reached.

Could someone please tell me what I can do to abort the call to Save inside the Save click event.

Usually all you have to do is return false from the event to prevent the form from being submitted.

Thanks. I found the Infragistics button had a property set where the default value of the button was set to OK. I changed it to "none" and the problem was solved.
