I'm looking for a way to implement an image tagging feature. In the browser, I want to be able to display an image and allow the user to tag elements within the image; however, the user should be able to click and drag a selection box to tag elements of various sizes within the image. The box size and position should then be recorded so that when that element is moused over or if a hyperlink that corresponds to that element is moused over then the selection box, of the appropriate size and position, should appear over the image. I can take care of the server side scripting but can you provide the javascript or ajax code to accomplish this?
