Experts,

You know the way you can search in Google with sub-strings like "Hard Rock" "Aerosmith"?  Is there a way to do a search like that in Visual Studio?

BTW, is there a name for that kind of search?

I'm not sure what you mean by "in Visual Studio." Do you mean using Find/Replace within the editor, searching a data structure you have during runtime, or are you querying a database via .NET?

Just using the "find".  I have stored procedure calls that start with "spDAL_" and some of them have "HRA" in the name, but not always after "DAL_" like they should.  I want to find any string with "spDAL_" and "HRA" anywhere in it.

You could search with regular expressions. You'll find a checkbox for that on the find dialog. A search string something like this should work
  spDAL_[a-zA-Z0-9_]*HRA
or if you want only the procedures with something between DAL_ and HRA, use this
  spDAL_[a-zA-Z0-9_]+HRA
